Western Wall
You don't have to be Jewish to enter the Western wall area. You should however respect all faiths as this is sacred ground. Visit the four tunnels, it is very interesting. You will have to pick up an admission ticket at the office nearby the police station.
The Valley of Elah
This Valley is probably best known as being the scene of the Biblical battle between David and Goliath. The stream of Elah, which lies in the middle of the valley, is a seasonal stream that runs dry in the summer. Many people believe this is the brook from which David chose his five smooth stones in preparation for battle. This is the ideal place to muse over what is arguably the most famous story from the Bible.
Tel Hai
Located at Israel's very northern tip, between Kiryat Shmona and Metulla, Tel Hai, is the fort, which was one of the original four Jewish settlements in the Galilee. Tel Hai has a beautiful view that overlooks the Hula Valley.
Monkey Business
Monkey business is located halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. It is a park with a beautiful landscape and scenery, it includes small ponds, waterfalls and many different trees. It has a diverse variety of monkey species. A perfect destination for a family outing.
The Carnivorous Plants Nursery
The Carnivorous Plants Nursery was established by a landscape architect and a agronomist. It is one of Israel's most popular tourist attractions. But, this is not a ordinary nursery where you can buy plants, a one-and-half-hour show is held, that includes snakes and frogs jumping out of plants, detailed explanations and video screenings about these interesting plants.
Nahum Gutman
This museum showcases some beautiful works or art of Nahum Gutman, one of Israel's most well known artists. They have a number of different works including oils, watercolors, gouache, sculpture, mosaics and engravings.
Zippori - The Ornament of all of Galilee
The ancient city of Zippori, lies only four miles from Nazareth. It features an elaborate ancient reservoir and beautiful mosaics. It was primarily a Jewish city but it became the seat of a Christian bishopric in the 5th century CE. On the hilltop is a church and a watchtower in memory of Anne and Joachim, the parents of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
