Explore Asia - Asia Destinations
The continent of Asia is the largest continent in the world and is home to approximately four billion people. Spanning across the northern and eastern hemisphere, there are a number of diverse countries located in Asia. Tourists are attracted to Asia as this is where you can walk in the footsteps of the Tsars, picture the great wars that took place, climb the highest mountains on the planet or loose yourself in destinations where the technology develops faster than the cities in which they are created.
Each exotic country has its own mysterious destinations, and countries such as Japan, Nepal, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Taiwan, Burma and Pakistan are especially popular. Many cities, including Taipei, Bangkok and Beijing, have become legendary destinations for international visitors, as has Islamabad, Tokyo, Tibet and Seoul. Being close to the magnificence of Mount Everest has drawn travelers to the picturesque Kathmandu, while adventurers discover the Kanheri Caves of Mumbai and historical explorers search the National Museum in Singapore and the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
Asia is a continent filled with breathtaking destinations, majestic attractions and spectacular landscapes that are waiting to be discovered. With so many countries and cities to choose from, visitors continue to return to Asia to explore this mighty continent, one country at a time. History, nature and the technology of the future can all be found on one continent, with the scars of the past becoming the teachers for the next generation.
