As the second largest continent on the planet, Africa is also one of the most populated continents. Paleoanthropologists believe that Africa is the oldest inhabited landmass, with human remains and fossils found to support this theory. It is said that apelike humans were living on Africa almost seven million years ago, and eventually evolved into modern man as we are known today. Over and above these magnificent discoveries, Africa is known for its rich cultures, ancient history and breathtaking wildlife and landscapes. Many of the major cities have become popular destinations for tourists, and boast well developed tourism infrastructures. Some of the attractions that gain the most attention in Africa include the Saqqara Pyramids and the Madrasa of Sultan Hassan in Cairo; Table Mountain, Robben Island and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town; Haller Park and the Ngomongo Villages in Mombasa; and the Great Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza in the city of Giza.

Africa has always been seen as a continent of adventure, forgotten treasures and mystical discoveries, and still lures thousands of tourists to its shores each year. From history, beauty, wildlife, attractions and unique opportunities and activities, Africa has it all.
